Quantum™ RFID RCU

From the development of SAFLOK’s latest lock innovation, Quantum™ comes the Quantum remote control (RCU) – a versatile stand-alone card reader controller in RFID format. Through the application of contactless smart card technology, this remote control device is designed to work with all electrified access control devices for perimeter doors, concierge floors, common areas, and other secured areas with electrified hardware.

Remote Control Unit (RCU)

Kaba-Saflok Remote Control Unit (RCU) is a stand-alone electronic keycard reader designed to work with a variety of exit device applications. The reader offers the widest possible range of security and convenience. Robust, reliable and durable, the RCU is compatible with perimeter door exit devices, entry doors requiring “after-hours” admission, health clubs, spas and banquet facilities. The RCU is a Messenger™ compliant device and can be easily integrated as part of a System 6000 design.

Elevator control unit (ECU) RFID & Insertion Card

Saflok offers an elevator control unit (ECU) and a multi-channel elevator control unit (MCECU). The elevator control unit is a single relay that contols access to certain floors on the property.

The MCECU's most distinctive feature is that it enables up to 12 pass levels, while a standard RCU and ECU can only be programmed to permit a single pass level. The MCECU card reader can be installed on each elevator and is connected to a box containing a processor circuit with up to 12 relays on it.

When a card having one or more pass levels on it is read, the appropriate relay(s) will switch to allow recognition of the floor buttons that each one controls.

All this translates into greater access control. Keycards can be encoded to grant access to only one of the controlled floors, all the controlled floors, or any combination in between the 12 passes.

LOCK VOLTMETERS

The Kaba-Saflok lock voltmeter is the only device that reads the voltage of the lock’s battery pack without requiring the door to be open. It works with insertion card reader and RFID reader locks and can be used without removing the batteries.
